A Senior Certified Member of the Appraisers Association of America (AAA), Ms. Caroline Ashleigh is known internationally for her expert appraisal skills. A rCaroline Ashleighegularly featured appraiser on Antiques Roadshow, Caroline Ashleigh possesses wide-ranging experience with top museums and major auction houses that renders her a valuable addition to the popular television show. Operating as the owner of Caroline Ashleigh Associates, LLC, Caroline Ashleigh utilizes her skillful leadership and deep knowledge to provide various appraisal, consulting, and management services. Caroline Ashleigh’s repertoire specifically includes marketing consultation; insurance valuation for damage; collection management services; expert witness and litigation support; equitable distribution and division of property; and estate, donation, and archive appraisals. Additionally, Caroline Ashleigh lectures and writes extensively on many areas of appraisal and connoisseurship. Caroline Ashleigh has written Warman’s Field Guide, a reference work and illustrated history of 20th century shoes, which is due for a June 2010 release.

 

Caroline Ashleigh is a graduate of New York University’s Appraisal Studies program in Fine and Decorative Arts. Dedicated to forging a career in the art industry, Caroline Ashleigh went on to earn certification as a USPAP (Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice) Appraiser, as well as from the AAA, in which she served as the regional representative for the Midwest and as co-chairman of the National Conference Committee. Today, Caroline Ashleigh counts major museums, auction houses, and private collectors among her clientele.

 

Caroline Ashleigh’s accomplishments have been highlighted in Art and Antiques Magazine, Forbes Magazine, and the New York Times. Caroline Ashleigh is also listed in a variety of Marquis Who’s Who publications.
